The Bhagavad Gita teaches that business leaders have a responsibility to act in the best interests of their stakeholders, including customers, employees, and shareholders. They must make decisions that are fair and just and that promote the welfare of all stakeholders. You have a right to perform your prescribed duties, but you are not entitled to the fruits of your actions. Never consider yourself to be the cause of the results of your activities, nor be attached to inaction. The Gita advocates the spirit centred approach to the business ethics based on eternal values and moral principles that should govern the code of conduct of business houses.

Among these, food is one of the stipulated and principle one as everyone both human and animals, Plants and lives need foods. Every human being needs pure and nutritious food for good health. But the sad thing is that, due to some dishonest and unscrupulous traders in our country, pure and healthy food has become a dream for people today. We have no choice but to accept contaminated and poisoned food as our destiny.  In Bangladesh a great number of companies which is registered and non-registered Where produce different kind of food like biscuit, chocolate, noodles, Loaf and some other most important product for family and children used by   different chemicals and those chemicals are harmful for health specially for baby, child and aged people. Honey, ghee, pine-apple, energy drink, RuhAfza all are contaminated by using Chemical and impure water.

 We have deliberately built ourselves into a self-destructive nation for the sake of small profits. There is adulteration in every food. Such adulteration is being mixed, which children are also getting infected with deadly diseases like cancer. There is no food that is not adulterated. For example, formalin in milk, pituitary gland injections are given to increase cow's milk. A class of unscrupulous businessmen are not satisfied only with adulteration of milk. They are now producing and marketing fake milk. No cow is needed to produce this milk and no cattle farm is required to be built with difficulty. Chana felna is boiled in fire by mixing various chemicals including thysoda, peroxide, flour, rice starch and sugar with water and then flavored with curd oil and essence or by mixing arrowroot with hot water and some chemical powders. No. Pure milk  is mixed with poison called formalin to keep it fresh for a long time. As a result, adults and children are suffering from its evil effects. Doctors say that people are constantly suffering from diarrhea, complicated stomach pain, kidney and liver diseases due to drinking artificially prepared fake milk. The risk is even more serious in children.

Formalinis used in fish to keep it fresh for a long time. A 1994 report by the United States Environmental Protection Agency revealed that formalin causes cancer in the lung and pharynx area. On October 1, 2004, the World Health Organization also issued a press release blaming formalin for causing cancer in the pharynx.

Copper sulphate to keep vegetables fresh. Toxic chemicals including calcium carbide and formalin are often used to ripen mangoes, litchis, yams, bananas and preserves. Hormonal insecticides, potassium permanganate are given in series to make the watermelon appear red while the fruit is still on the tree. Powdered tamarind seeds are given in Kopi. At least 6 rounds of chemicals are used from the time the fruit comes to the tree until it is sold in the market. Basically, due to the excessive spraying of gaseous ethylene and hormone-like ether and the use of calcium carbide, the fruits become poisonous. Due to the use of ethylene or calcium carbide, the fruit turns yellow within a few days. Although in reality these fruits are immature. Addition of excess calcium carbide can turn mangoes into deadly poisons, essentially like calcium cyanide.

Even big companies don't fall short. Most of their manufactured, packaged, processed liquid and solid foods are full of toxins and adulterants. For example, various types of harmful colors are used in fruit juice, snack food, green peas, jam-jelly, pickle-chutney.

According to nutritionists, adulterated spices are extremely harmful to the human body. Fabric dyes contain dangerous chemicals. Harmful metals like copper, chromium, cadmium are mixed in these colors. Which causes human malnutrition, food poisoning, gastric, ulcer, breathing problem, asthma, heart attack, brain stroke, liver, kidney disease. Cancer cells grow in the body. The liver becomes stagnant. Physical growth of the child stops. Besides, wood and coal dust are not animal food. Humans cannot digest it by eating it. As a result, the digestion process is disturbed and the human stomach and kidney are gradually destroyed. While bearing the medical expenses, the patient's family is at peace. Moreover, the state has to spend a huge amount of money from the health sector allocation.

There are also complaints that low-quality ingredients including adulterated flour, flour, dal, oil, rotten eggs are used in the food products of various bakeries in the country in the hope of reducing production costs and making more profit. Peppermint, soda and baking powder are mixed to make cakes and bread. Various chemicals including tallow, fatty, acids and emulsifying, textile dyes are also used in bakery factories to keep food products fresh. The use of rotten eggs in bakery food products seems to be the norm now.

Not only in human food, but lately also in animal food, the trend of adulteration is increasing. Fish, animal and poultry feed is made from leather industry waste. These wastes contain excess chromium, which is very harmful to public health. This chromium is not destroyed even if these fish, poultry and animal meat are cooked.

 In addition, toxic chromium lead and anti-biotics are being used in farm poultry and fish farming. As a result, thousands of fish, dairy and poultry farms are facing extreme threat today due to adulteration of poultry feed, husks, husks and other food products in different markets of the country. These unscrupulous traders are marketing by mixing wood powder with axe, rice husk, flour, black burnt soil with khair, black paint used on the floor of buildings and buildings. Even the medicines used to treat the animals are adulterated and of low quality. On the one hand the small businessmen are facing extreme losses and the public health is being severely damaged on the other hand the reputation of the good companies is getting tarnished.

The Color of death 

 According to the information of Kidney Foundation, 16 percent of people in Bangladesh have suffered from kidney disease due to consumption of food mixed with chemicals. According to the ICCDRB, the World Health Organization found evidence in one of their surveys that almost 1000+ people come to the hospital every day due to diarrhea, which is attributed to adulterated food. According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, about 4.75 million people in Bangladesh suffer from various serious diseases due to food poisoning every year.

Various ministries of the government have enacted various laws to suppress this adulteration. There are many laws in force including Sections 272 and 273 of the Penal Code of 1860, Pure Food Ordinance 1959, Pure Food Policy 1967, BSTI Act 2003, Mobile Courts Ordinance 2009, Protection of Consumer Rights Act 2009, Safe Food Act 2013. In all these laws, the court can impose imprisonment from a minimum of 6 months to a maximum of 5 years and a fine of 1 to 10 lakh Taka.
